Led by stunning new vocalist Tracy Sullivan, Gyratory Allstars are a 10 piece Brighton-based funk and soul collective. A diverse mix of seasoned musicians very active on the local scene, with some having played previously for the likes of Definition of Sound, X-Ray Spex, Penguin Café Orchestra, Michael Nyman, Mad Professor and produced for the likes of Bugz in the Attic, James Blake and more.
The band self-released their hotly anticipated debut EP in October 2024, which smashed it nationally and internationally, leading to rotational airplay on BBC 6 Music (Craig Charles Funk & Soul Show), Norman Jay (Soho Radio/Good Times), Jazz FM (John Osborne), Solar Radio, Mi-Soul, JazzFunkSoul and many more.
On the live circuit, the Gyratory Allstars have also supported Omar, Roachford, Dawn Penn, Loose Ends, Crazy P, Cut Capers and The Sugarhill Gang.
