Join children’s book author Dawn Casey and watch the tale of The Apple Tree Man – the story of a brother who honours the old ways, and takes care of an unloved tree. This Somerset folktale is a celebration of the apple tree and of the friendships that can blossom between people and trees.
The tale is illustrated by a candle-lit story-box, a traditional storytelling form using hand-made paper-cuts to create a gentle stream of scrolling silhouettes.
