As many of you know, we’ve made a few changes to the live in vehicle field for 2020, which include separating vehicles and tents. The Park & Pitch spaces for tents only sold out very quickly, so we wanted to remind everyone of your other options if you are planning to come to the festival with a tent.
Standard camping is included free with your festival tickets. We’re expanding the area immediately adjacent to the car park this year so that more people can camp closer to their vehicles. You can’t reserve space in the general camping areas, but there is lots of room for groups to camp together, and we are expanding the area available in the campsite closest to the car park. Obviously not everyone will get to park right next to the entrance, or to get space close to the car park, but the shortest distance you could conceivably have to walk between your car and the general camping areas is about 20 metres! On the other end of the scale, the absolute maximum you would have to walk between the furthest corner of the car park and the wild camping field is about 1200 metres. Which is a long way if you’re lugging lots of gear, but, in our opinion, it’s worth it!…
Last year we trialled a tractor and trailer luggage service to help get your camping gear back up the hill to the car park. We’ll be improving and expanding this service in 2020 and will be publishing more details soon.
We’ve got some great boutique camping options which you might not have considered before. Take a look at the Glamping page to see the options available – prices for bell tents start from as little as £30 per person per night.
