Join us to learn how to weave with beautiful willow. We will gather on Friday evening to create a gorgeous keepsake dragonfly that can fly with you around the festival fields and then come home to rest.
The workshop is for adult-child pairs, working together to create one dragonfly between them. Dragonflies measure approx. 80cm and incorporate the rhythmical ‘corn dolly’ weave as well as an opportunity to freestyle the wings.
You don’t need to have worked with willow before – come and try something new! Some dexterity/hand strength is required but working together means this is an accessible project for 7 years plus.
All willow, tools and resources are provided.

Who’s it for?
This is for a parent and child duo suitable for children 7 + (all children must be accompanied by an assisting adult).
