You’ve helped invest £650,000 in climate projects!

ecolibrium members celebrate reaching over £650,000 invested in climate projects to address the impact of travel at events since the charity began in 2016.

As one of ecolibrium’s members we have supported the charity to reach this significant climate investment milestone with donations in 2023.

ecolibrium was founded by event organisers to tackle travel emissions to live events, typically the largest source of carbon emissions at greenfield music festivals, their mission is to move low carbon travel into the heart of live events culture and unite their community of events, music companies, crew and artists in environmental restoration.

The total climate investment breaks down into these key metrics:

Donations are channelled directly to ecolibrium’s network of established environmental project partners through two programmes: Energy Revolution and Trees+

We supported Energy Revolution. Your donations when you booked festival tickets for Elderflower Fields and Into The Trees 2023 were invested in Energy Garden, a not-for-profit Community Benefit Society. Energy Garden works with local communities to invest in renewable energy generation and green transportation infrastructure to improve air quality and biodiversity and to empower communities and young people to take climate action.  Read more about the brilliant work of Energy Garden here.

We work with ecolibrium each year to measure, record and understand travel impacts, implement strategies and initiatives to reduce them, and to inspire our networks to move to low carbon travel and invest in environmental restoration.
